USE OF MAGNETIC FIELDS FOR INTENSIFICATION OF COAL GASIFICATION PROCESS

Underground coal gasification is an alternative method for mining from thin and ultra-thin seams, which enables conversion of solid fossil fuels into combustible gases at the site occurrence. At same time, in case when seam thickness critically small effective course thermochemical reactions, it necessary to intensify process. This paper studies one possible methods process underground due influence magnetic fields on injected blast supplied gas generator channel. Research tests conducted a bench setup confirm effectiveness activation field by creating inhomogeneity placing permanent magnets discrete magnetized phase special device. For first dependence changing growth carbon participation during fuel strength range 0-600 E has been determined. It proven that magnetization can significantly increasing share fuel, may be practical importance yield components.
